“The Summer Of Love ~ The Four Loves”
Beginning Sunday, August 16th through September 7th 2025:
We invite you join us on this next four-week sermon series where we will examine the four types of love as described in C. S. Lewis’s famous work ‘The Four Loves’. The four loves are storgē (affection/family love), philia (friendship/brotherly love), eros (romance), and agapē (charity/ sacrificial love). Through analyzing biblical passages, we will find the relationship among these words and the Christian virtues and character that they reflect. In a culture that is often misinformed about love, Lewis reveals how Scripture points to the various aspects of love that ultimately glorify God and reveal him to the world.
