What to Expect

First, let us say, “Welcome!” Whether you’ve attended a church your whole life or never stepped foot in one before, we know it’s not easy visiting a church for the first time. You’re not quite sure what to expect; you might have many questions:

Great questions! Here’s some answers that should help. But above all, relax, be yourself, and know that we look forward to getting to know you.

What time are the services?

We have one service every Sunday at 10:00 am. You can participate in person or online on our YouTube Channel. The morning service lasts approximately one hour and fifteen minutes, and we have a time of fellowship after the service in our Lobby. back to top

What is worship like?

Our Sunday morning worship service is a contemporary blend of preaching, prayer and praise. Every
week we sing several worship songs and hymns in a contemporary style. We uplift and encourage each other through active and engaging prayer. We listen to God’s Word, being challenged and inspired by relevant sermons. Finally, we respond to God through faithful giving of offerings and are sent to be witnesses to the world. back to top

How should I dress?

We encourage you to come as you are and be yourself. After all, we want you to be more focused on who you are worshiping than what you are wearing. We have people who wear jeans and a t-shirt and others who wear a shirt and tie. In the summertime, it’s not uncommon to see people wearing sandals or shorts. Most people dress casually though a few still prefer to put on their “Sunday best”, and that’s fine too! We think you’ll fit in no matter how you dress. back to top

Is there anything available for my kids?

Your kids are welcome to stay with you for the entire service if you desire. We have other opportunities for children in worship. We have a nursery on the lower level for infants, crawlers, and toddlers. For slightly older kids, we have a children’s church program that runs during the second half of the morning service (during the sermon). Our pastor will invite children to leave the sanctuary and follow the children’s church leader at the appropriate time during worship. back to top

Will I be asked to give money?

If you are visiting with us we don’t expect you to put money in the offering, and you are welcome to just let it pass you by. We have an opportunity every Sunday in our morning worship to give generously a small portion of the gifts that God has given to us. We believe giving is an act of worship wherein those who have a personal relationship with God through Christ give regularly and generously in response to God’s gracious gifts. For more information on giving, or to partner with us in ministry by making an online donation, please see our giving page. back to top
