The Neighborhood Missional Community is an intergenerational extended family of 40+ followers of Jesus will be gathered to be a tangible blessing to the children in the neighborhoods around South Blendon.
We do this by running fun and playful events in the neighborhoods surrounding South Blendon once a month. It is an opportunity to let the kids know that they matter to us and they matter to God.
Also once a month we gather as a community to enjoy a meal together, play some games together, pray, and share stories of where we see God working in the neighborhood kids we are reaching.

Family Meals (formally called Pray & Plays) are about building community in our Missional Community. People of all ages are invited! That is your friends, family, and neighbors to taste and see what a Missional Community is all about! Come contribute to a potluck in the gym, play an intergenerational game, get to know some people, and hear awesome stories from our Palm Sunday Eggstravaganza, Easter, Men & Women's Spring Bible Studies & the Missional Community to celebrate how God is moving at SBCC in our community! The Love Your Neighbor Missional Community is an intergenerational extended family of 40+ followers of Jesus gathered to engage in Transforming lives with Love Your Neighbor.
We do this by volunteering in a variety of ways to support Love's ministry. Some examples include serving on their campus (sorting donations, working in the thrift stores, and cleaning), serving meals for Life Skills attendants, food drives, and backpack drives. A number from our community serve on an ongoing basis in the warehouse, the stores, child care, the Hy5 after-school center, and the technology ministry
Also once a month we gather as a community to enjoy a meal together, play some games together, pray, and share stories of where we see God working through our partnership with Love Your Neighbor.
